All around us are magic machines that suck carbon out of the air, cost very little and build themselves. Trees – in all their gorgeous variety and spectacular beauty – can make a massive difference to the world, if we accept one condition: we have to leave fossil fuels in the ground, where they belong. In this short film young climate activist Greta Thunberg and writer and environmental campaigner George Monbiot explain that we can still fix the damage that has already been done to our planet. But it requires a collective effort, and you can make a difference too. Why not join millions of people around the world on Friday and take part in one of the Global Climate Strikes in your city?
