Witold Szabłowski

is an award-winning Polish journalist who lives in Warsaw. He spent his early career covering international stories in countries including Cuba, South Africa and Iceland for “Duży Format”, the weekly supplement of Polish daily newspaper “Gazeta Wyborcza”. His books “The Assassin from Apricot City” (2013) and “Dancing Bears” (2018) have been translated into English; his Polish-language reportage has won numerous Polish and international awards.
