Łukasz Jarosz

was born in 1978. He is a poet, musician, percussionist, singer and author of lyrics for the bands Chaotic Splutter, Lesers Bend, Mgłowce, and Zziajani Porywacze Makowców. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Wisława Szymborska Prize (2013). He lives in Żurada near Olkusz, where he teaches Polish language and literature in a local school.
